Marine Site of Community Importance protecting the seabed and underwater ecosystems between the Circeo promontory and Terracina, rich in posidonia seagrass meadows — a habitat fundamental to Mediterranean marine biodiversity — and frequented by a wide variety of fish species, favoured by the environmental protection provided by the National Park.
