A lecture-performance at the Visitor Centre devoted to the most debated chapter of Circeo archaeology. It starts from the discovery of February 1939, reconstructs the ritual interpretation proposed by Alberto Carlo Blanc and reaches the revisions of recent decades, which have brought in taphonomy and the action of cave hyenas.
A guided night visit to the exhibition rooms follows, with the stone and faunal material from the promontory excavations.
No visit to the cave itself, which remains closed to the public. Booking required. Suitable from fourteen years old.
